Boulez Ensemble – Saunders & Ravel

For the first time, the Boulez Ensemble performs music by Berlin-­based British composer Rebecca Saunders. Led by François­-Xavier Roth, the musicians present two ensemble pieces, Skin and Skull, the first and last part of a triptych of works the composer and Siemens Music Prize winner wrote between 2016 and 2023. Maurice Ravel’s Sonata for Violin and Cello, composed in the early 1920s, completes the program.
